The logo of MITA Group, established as a joint-stock company in December 2018, includes the Italian flag. The explicit intention is to combine the Brand Italy tradition of craftsmanship and a focus on the customer, with the Group’s two core businesses: cooling technologies and water treatment. A base on which to build our global presence.

The Group grew out of MITA Srl, active in evaporative and adiabatic cooling since 1960. Now the business is called MITA Cooling Technologies and is distinct from MITA Water Technologies, which produces water treatment systems. This ‘family portrait’ is completed by the acquisition of Spanish company TORRAVAL Cooling in 2012, a company that for the last 50 years, has produced field-erected cooling towers, and the creation of the independent ECONOMAX division, specialising in specific cooling towers to recover 95% of the water used in craft ice cream parlours.
